This workshop at Beijing’s Central Academy of Fine Arts challenged 15 students to create their own geoengineering future folklores. The 5-day workshop took the designers through a fast-paced speculative design process, from research on a climate science geoengineering topic, through to story creation, and culminating in a pop-up exhibition of a final model and a completed narrative.

The workshop was an extension of our project Future Climate [Hi]stories which was commissioned by the journal Disegno for their 2°C climate change issue.
